Earlier reports said Ghulam Ali was supposed to visit Mumbai on January 29 to attend the music launch of TV show host-turned-film-maker Suhaib Ilyasi’s upcoming film, Ghar Wapsi.

Randhir Roy, a source close to Ali, said: “No formal invitation to attend the music launch of the film has been extended to Khan saab. He had returned to Pakistan on Friday, and has no schedule to visit India anytime soon. I don’t know how these rumours have started doing the rounds. In fact, someone from the NCPA has also claimed that Khan saab will perform in Mumbai soon, but that’s not true.”

Apparently, the popular singer has sung a song in Ghar Wapsi, and he will also be seen acting in it. “Just because he is part of the film, people assumed that he will attend the music launch,” says Roy.
