An 18-year-old girl collapsed and died while writing the plus-two examination in a school at Alathur in the district on Wednesday.
The girl was identified as Aneesha Fathima of ASM Higher Secondary School at Aalathur, police said.

Sources said though the school authorities rushed the girl to a nearby hospital, she died before reaching there.
