A 4-year-old girl was run over and killed by a truck at Bisra Town, 20 km from Rourkela this morning, police said.
Police said the driver of the vehicle was arrested and the truck was seized.

Angry residents put up a road block demanding financial compensation. Police rushed to the spot and persuaded the public to lift the road blockade.
The residents prevented the police from sending the body from being sent for post-mortem.
