POLICE ARE on a hot hunt for the hooligans who attacked ex-Army official and his two daughters when they objected to their drinking brawl on Monday. The Bazaar Khala police have procured arrest warrant against the named accused on Wednesday.
The cops said the victims (KS Yadva and his daughters) had a tiff with the named accused earlier also. Yadav’s son Karuna, a resident of Old Tikaitganj locality, said that his sister Snehlata was studying when she heard a group of youths engaged in a brawl causing nuisance right outside their house.
When she objected, the youths pounced upon the girl and started beating her up brutally. As Snehlata screamed for help her elder sister Aruna ran to her rescue. Aruna too was assaulted brutally. Meanwhile, Yadav came downstairs but the group of youths attacked him too. Yadav and his daughters were injured critically. The assailants ran away as the local residents gathered at the scene.
The injured were admitted to the hospital. Two of the accused have been identified as Himanshu Dixit and Avinash Pandey of the same locality.
