Close, 58, has been married twice before and has a 17-year-old daughter from her first marriage, reports People's Magazine.

Close and Shaw have been living together on Manhattan's Upper West Side for some time.

Shaw is the founder and chief executive officer of IDEXX Laboratories, a publicly held biotech firm based in Westbrook, Maine, with annual revenues of more than $600 million.

The actress, a five-time Oscar nominee whose films include Dangerous Liaisons, Fatal Attraction, The Natural and The Big Chill.
