One of the world's most devastating fast bowlers, Glenn McGrath spearheads the Australian bowling attack.

McGrath's searing accuracy and front on action, plus his ability to bowl to left handers earned him the reputation to be one of the best fast bowlers in the world.

McGrath can quite literally suffocate batsmen with his perfect line and length.

McGrath made his first-class debut for New South Wales against Tasmania in Sydney in the 92/93 season, taking 5-79. After only eight first-class matches, McGrath made his Test debut for Australia against New Zealand at Perth in 1993.

McGrath took his 300th Test wicket of Brian Lara at the WACA in 2000.

McGrath completed 400 Test wickets in Sharjah against Pakistan in the third Test. At the time of writing McGrath has been sidelined with ankle injuries to leave him with 430 and 284 Test and ODI wickets respectively. McGrath was named as The Wisden Cricketer of The Year in 1998, the inaugural Allan Border in 2000 (Australia's highest award).
