"Viola has been summoned to the Crime Branch on Saturday at 10.30 am," a source close to Pacheco's family said.

Police raided Pacheco's house at Betalbhatim, 40 kms away from here, and confiscated half a dozen computers.

The summons were served to Viola soon after the raid.

Police are investigating the death of 28-year-old Nadia Torrado, who died allegedly after consuming poison on May 15.

The Crime Branch has accused the former Tourism minister of being involved in the crime.

The minister's close friend and officer on special duty Lyndon Monteiro has been made co-accused in this case.

Pacheco and Monteiro are on the run since June 6, when they were called for questioning by the Crime Branch.

Sessions court has already rejected their anticipatory bail petition.
