After it expanded its operations last November, doubling its weekly flights to 561, GoAir recorded an average load factor of 83 per cent, which it claimed was maintained consistently over the past year.

The airline, run by the Wadia Group, said it was poised to maintain this growth trend in passenger traffic; load factors and market share in the last quarter of this fiscal as well.

Claiming that the airline's market share was on an upswing, GoAir's Managing Director Jeh Wadia said: "We enjoy the highest market share per aircraft in the industry." The airline has also managed to maintain lead by recording such high load factor, he said.

The airline currently operates to 11 cities of Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Mumbai, Cochin, Delhi, Goa, Hyderabad, Jammu, Jaipur, Chennai and Srinagar.
