OWING TO a decline in prices of gold and silver in the international market, the price of gold in the local market witnessed a dip of Rs 30 per gram today.

OWING TO a decline in prices of gold and silver in the international market, the price of gold in the local market witnessed a dip of Rs 30 per gram today.

Similarly, silver too witnessed a decline of Rs 300 per kg. According to trader at local Sarafa Bazaar, Navneet Agarwal, the price of gold in international market closed at US Dollars 548 per ounce, with a dip of dollars 24. “The priced had reached at dollars 572 per ounce on the previous day and due to its decline, the effect could be seen in the domestic market too,” he said.

He said silver too witnessed a dip of 30 Cent, resultantly, in domestic market silver price came down from Rs 13,000 per kg to Rs 12,700. “There’s further chances of slowing down of prices, which is due to fall in prices of crude oil,” Agarwal added.
