PREPARATIONS FOR the chief minister’s visit on January 23 are in full swing. Bridge Corporation employees are giving final touches to the Dharmashala overbridge, while police officials are putting up barricades at Narmal School, the venue of the CM’s public meeting.
The Medical College administration is busy completing construction of boundary wall of the Japanese Encephalitis Research Centre. A special team of sanitation employees was deployed here for cleaning the entire medical college premises.
The CM will arrive here at 10.25 am. During his three-hour stay, he will lay the foundation stone of various projects and address a public meeting.
Meanwhile, SP city unit president Zia-ul-Islam said the visit of the CM would give a befitting reply to Opposition leaders who were making unwarranted remarks against the SP.
