Governance to be focus

Action-orieted governance would be at the centre of polls, says Manohar Joshi.

Lok Sabha Speaker Manohar Joshi today said action-orieted governance of the NDA government headed by Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee would be the centre of electioneering for the ensuing polls.

"Performance of NDA government in different spheres of development has been applauded not only in India but in other countries too," Joshi said while addressing a 'saamarthya melava' (show of strength rally) organised by Shiv Sena-BJP combine here.

State chief of BJP Gopinath Munde, general secretary Sharad Kulkarni also addressed the gathering.

Shiv Sena candidate Chandrakant Khaire, expressed confidence that people would support him this time also.
