On Sunday, Gurgaon deputy commissioner PC Meena said the state government has decided to start city bus service as a mode of public transport. In the first phase, seven routes have been chalked out.

Any resident of Gurgaon, resident welfare associations or social organisations can drop in their suggestions in room number 25 (Transport Branch) in the office of Haryana Roadways Depot, Gurgaon.

Suggestions can also be sent through e-mail on citybusgurgaon@gmail.com.

A survey conducted by HT revealed that nearly 83% residents had complained of poor transport facilities in the Millennium City. Due to this, commuters are left with no option other than to share crowded autos and buses. About 97% said the main hindrance in using metro service was non-availability of feeder service.
