Governor?s Gold Cup from Oct 28

The 26th Governor's Gold Cup football tournament, one of the most important sporting events in Sikkim, would begin at the Baichung Bhutia Stadium on October 28.

The 26th Governor's Gold Cup football tournament, one of the most important sporting events in Sikkim, would begin at the Baichung Bhutia Stadium on October 28.

In the 11-day tournament, the teams which would compete include Kolkata's Mohammedan Sporting Club, George Telegraph, Everready, Arambagh of Bangladesh, Bhutan XI, Assam SEB XI, Sikkim Police XI and Tata Football Academy, according to a press release issued by the Sikkim
Football Association, organiser of the tournament.

The final match of the tournament will be held on November 7.
