A government office building was damaged in an explosion in Dargoon area of Poonch district early Wednesday morning. Police have ruled out possibility of a militant attack.

Rajouri deputy superintendent of police (DSP) Shamsher Chowdhary said last night at about 1.15am office of naib-tehsildar was completely damaged in an explosion. He said that the adjoining two staff rooms also suffered damages.

Police said initial investigations suggest it couldn't be the work of terrorists. They have called bomb disposal squad to investigate the nature of explosion.

Dargoon is about 20-km away from the LoC in the Poonch district. An army camp and civil hospital is near by the damaged building.
