"The opposition has chosen to stone and run away... stall Parliament. This is undemocratic method. We have nothing to hide and nothing to suppress. We have a Prime Minister of impeccable character and integrity," Moily told reporters at the airport in Chennai.

The Government was prepared to discuss the issues raised by the opposition, he said, adding that "more than the Joint Parliamentary Committee, Parliament is the highest forum.

"We are not running away from debate and we are ready to debate and ready to interact with the opposition and anyone...the right forum is Parliament," Moily said.

Asking the opposition, which is adamant on its demand for a JPC probe, to face a debate in Parliament, he said they were just "throwing stones and running away. This is not correct."

To a question on Congress-DMK alliance in the light of the spectrum controversy which led to the exit of A Raja from the Union Cabinet, Moily said it was very strong.
