Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Sunday said his government was working out modalities for implementing the Prime Minister's employment package for Kashmiri migrant Pandits.

"My government is working out modalities for implementation of the Prime Minister's employment package for Kashmiri migrant Pandits," Omar said interacting with a deputation of All India Youth Kashmiri Pandit Samaj (AIYKPS) in Srinagar.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had announced an employment package for the displaced youth during his visit to Jammu last year.
The chief minister asked them to meet Commissioner Secretary, General Administration Department, for getting full appraisal of the state's measures afoot in this direction.
