Expressing his views on the occasion, coordinator of the Manch, Vishnu Shanker Srivastav, said the department had laid underground cable work in various parts of the city which had disturbed telephone lines in various areas.

He further said that delayed distribution of bills had also added to the problems of the consumers.

Manch leader Rishi Mohan Verma, Ajay Jaiswal and Amarnath Yadav said the telephone exchange at Gorakhnath, Beniganj, Rapti Nagar, and Gita Vatika, Shahpur were not working properly and the telephone bills were also not being distributed timely.
