Just like any other child, I too was taught religious scriptures by my grandmother. The raw mind of a child and her singularity of religion moulded my thinking in accepting the fact that it was God who existed in every living creature and fulfilled our desires.
In my innocent mind, I discovered the way to find God and have my wishes
fulfilled. I theorised that since God existed in all living beings, it must exist in ants too. And if I find God, He will grant me my wishes. In other words, if I kill an ant, God will leave its body and then just as He comes out, I will speak out my wish and He will have to fulfil it, because my grandmother had convinced me all our prayers are unfailingly answered by God.
I started killing ants in hundreds but no God came out. But I was so convinced that God must be moving very fast out of the ant's body, and it was my slowness in speaking my prayer that my wish was not getting fulfilled.
As I grew up, I started disbelieving in 'conventional God'. Universe, I knew, was created almost 14 billion years ago. And if conventional God created this, what was he doing all these years. He could not have waited all these years for humans to get evolved and then worship him.

{{/usCountry}}Something was surely wrong in our assessment of God. Our failure to understand nature in a proper sense meant that our consciousness and the fear of the unknown created the conventional God and not otherwise.
The laws of physics are same for atheists and devout worshippers. Gravity would act same on all. If pushed from the tenth floor, any one of will meet the same end. We have reduced the actual Creator to a conventional God, who is supposed to take care of all our problems. We have stopped believing that we have to do our work and not the Creator. If we do our work honestly, sincerely and forcefully, success will be ours.
