With Tuesday's arrest, a total number of suspected LeT terrorists arrested in Gujarat since Monday, has risen to four.

Several documents including literature in Urdu and the letter pad of the banned outfit as well as numerous CDs and a computer were seized during the arrests made on Monday and Tuesday, deputy commissioner of police (crime) Manoj Shashidhar said.

"These arrests are significant as they are part of a pan-national network of the LeT. They were members of a sleeper cell module that were prepared for any sort of attack or series of strikes", he said.

Of the arrested suspected terrorists two are from Ahmedabad, one is a senior cleric at a madrasa near Bharuch district and one hails from Kashmir.

He said the real objective of the sleeper cell module is still being investigated but probe had revealed that they had undergone training to conduct any sort of subversive activity and were asked to maintain their routine activity till then.
