A laboratory has alleged the SIT appointed by the Gujarat high court to probe the Ishrat Jahan murder case has "intimidated FSL officials and forcibly taken away a computer hard disk and documents".

A division of the Forensic Science Lab (FSL) has written to additional chief secretary (home) Balwant Singh and Gujarat DGP Chittaranjan Singh, complaining about the "raids" of SIT member Satish Varma and investigation officer VR Tolia on March 3.
An FSL official said the SIT had to seize the documents as the lab had not given all photographs showing bullet marks and scene of the crime.
Acting police commissioner of Ahmedabad, Mohan Jha, also a member of the SIT, asked an ACP to inquire into the incident.
"The ACP will inquire into the matter and report to the commissioner," Jha said.
However, SIT chairman Kairnal Singh said what happened at the lab was in the interests of investigation.
When asked whether FSL officials were not cooperating with the investigation process, he refused to elaborate, saying, "I cannot comment on the circumstances of the incident."
