NIRBHAY GUJJAR was not killed by the police, but killed by the villagers and police was making false claim, said Sarla Jatav, former associate of the dreaded dacoit, killed in encounter recently. She was brought from Etwah jail to Kanpur court for attending the court proceedings.
Sarla said she used to call Nirbhay as Dada and his death was a shock for her. She said she considered Shyam Jatav as her husband.
About property of Nirbhay Gujjar, she replied that most of the part had been taken away by Shyam Jatav and Neelam Jatav and rest was in custody of his relatives. She added that she was interested to join the politics in future. About her entry into the gang, she said that it was a forced one.
About half a dozen dacoits charged with kidnapping incidents including Awesh, Manoj, Veerpal, Udal Singh, Biya alias Sushma, today appeared in front of judge Mumtaj Ali of special docity and ADJ (VII) of Kanpur Dehat.
