Gunmen kill 15 people in Baghdad attack

Fifteen others were hurt when gunmen ambushed a bus carrying dozens of workers from a Shi'ite Muslim district in Baghdad.

Gunmen ambushed a bus carrying dozens of cleaners and other workers from a Shi'ite Muslim district in Baghdad to the city's airport, killing at least 15 people and wounding 15 others, a hospital source said.

The source said the attack occurred in the Sunni Arab neighbourhood of Amriya in western Baghdad.
