Now, Khan can build on his dreams with Governor TV Rajeswar finally giving his assent to the controversial Maulana Mohammad Ali Jauhar University Bill, 2005.

But the Governor’s nod comes with a rider. He has laid down certain conditions that have to be fulfilled before the university comes up at Rampur. Khan is said to have assured the Governor to meet the conditions.

Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav and Khan had met the Governor recently to put forward their point of view and gave certain clarifications on the issue.
