However in Eastern and Central parts too, the temperature rose during the last three days and the weather became quite stuffy and uncomfortable due to high humidity. For residents in the capital, weather conditions remained quite
uncomfortable right through Monday with high temperature and unbearable humidity during the late afternoon.

Though there were clouds by evening giving some respite, it was not of much help. The maximum temperature of the day was recorded at 39.6 degrees, which is normal for the season.

The Northern parts of the State along with Rajasthan are experiencing heat wave conditions with the no weather system available to feed moisture to this area, Director of the Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC) Dr D P Dubey said.
The citizens in these parts of State are thus getting a feel of the nautapa.

Some areas are also expected to experience very high velocity winds. Indore recorded maximum of 41 degrees and Jabalpur recorded 40.1 degrees.

Heat wave conditions would persist in the Gwalior-Chambal region, with temperature soaring way above normal.
