Pakistan off-spinner Mohammad Hafeez is likely to be in contention for the one-day series against India after his bowling action was cleared by bio-mechanic and bowling experts.

"Going by the initial reports, Hafeez should be able to bowl in the one-day series in India," a Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) source was quoted as saying by a local daily.
PCB officials confirmed that the initial reports suggested that 24-year-old Hafeez had no major flaw in his bowling action.
The all-rounder, who has played three Tests and 28 One-Day Internationals, had undergone tests at the University of Western Australia in Perth, after being reported in the VB triangular series in Australia.
"Although we are yet to get official reports from the university, we've been verbally informed that Hafeez straightens his bowling arm below the 15 degrees latitude allowed by the International Cricket Council (ICC) from March 1," the official said.
Pakistan selection committee chief Wasim Bari has said that Hafeez is under consideration for the six-match one-day series in India beginning on April 2 at Kochi.
