WHILE NO case of cheating was registered in the Higher Secondary exam about half a dozen were registered at various centres in the university and an M Com examination paper was again changed today.
According to SDM Nilay Satbhaiye who was incharge of the flying squad constituted by the administration to oversee Higher Secondary and High School, exams, the 12th Board paper held after two-days gap today saw no case of cheating. Only two cases of cheating were registered on the very first day of the 12th Board exam and no case has been registered in the only paper of the 10th Board exam held so far.
Deputy Registrar (exams) LS Baghel said that the number of cheating cases was slowly declining. However, some notorious colleges and tough courses lived up to their reputation and cases continued to be registered from Government Arts and Commerce College (GACC) and some University Teaching Departments and others.
The University again changed a paper of M Com final year ‘income tax with corporate planning.’ The University had done the same with an M Com paper yesterday and the repeat incident was said to have stemmed from apprehensions of paper leak but was attributed to the high precautionary measures taken by the university as part of which four sets of question papers had been prepared instead of the usual three.

{{/usCountry}}Rumours, however, abounded that the university had done this to cover up the goof up as had happened in yesterdays exam when the students attempting the M Com instrumentation paper were not informed of the change in pattern in the question paper according to which multiple choices of questions were given instead of the choices being in the questions itself.
The information of the change was given to students after one and a half hours and they had to be given extra time to solve the questions, however, many students could not complete the same.
