Dwayne Bravo admitted that he was reaping the benefits of hard work as the all-rounder was the pick of the West Indies bowlers with four wickets in India's first innings total of 241.
Bravo returned to hit a sparkling 63 to help West Indies earn a healthy 77-run first innings lead after two days of the first Test at the Antigua Recreation Ground on Saturday.
"I put in extra work in the nets, and I know once I'm bowling well, it will eventually carry on to my batting," said Bravo.
"It is showing now. I'm doing well in one department, so therefore I'm holding up in another department. I'm growing from strength to strength."
Bravo added a vital 73 for the fifth wicket with Shivnarine Chanderpaul and hit the boundary that formalised the lead for West Indies before Virender Sehwag bamboozled him with a delivery that spun and bounced, and he was stumped.
"I'm very disappointed with the way I got out," he said. "The shot was not called for at that point in time.

Bravo's performance so far in the Test is a continuation of where he left off in the preceding five-match One-day International series, but he admits there was still a long way to go.
"I know that this series is a very important series for the people of the West Indies and for ourselves," he said.
"We are now regrouping and our team unity is very good. Playing against the Indians we all have to step up a notch."
