A hardcore naxalite was on Friday arrested by Special Task Force (STF) personnel from Rustampur village in Jehanabad district, a senior police official said.
Inspector General of Police (IG), Headquarters, KS Dwivedi said that one Praduman Sharma alias Kundanji, a member of the banned naxalite outfit MCC'S Bihar regional committee, was arrested while he was collecting levy from a contractor.

Sharma was wanted in connection with a number of naxalite activities in the district, Dwivedi said.
