Many people who have been following the constantly strained relations between the two biggest superstars in Bollywood, have been surprised by the recent statement made by actor Salman Khan.

While addressing the press conference to promote his second season of

Dus Ka Dum

, Salman who is set to be back with his game show

Dus Ka Dum

said: "SRK is more than welcome if he agrees to come on the show” he said and added, “I do not have any problem with it. Even if I have, I cannot discuss with you."

Last season, Salman’s game show

Dus Ka Dum

on Sony got a good response from the audience. In fact, its TRP was the highest among shows being hosted by Bollywood superstars including Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik and our very own Sallu Bhai.

received TRPs above 3.5 compared to around 2.5 TRPs that Shah Rukh Khan’s

Kya Aap Paanchvi Paas Se Tez Hain

While Shah Rukh Khan has more fans in urban areas and more importantly in big cities in the country, he is also a hit amongst NRIs across the globe. On the other hand, Salman is revered in India’s rural areas and small cities in north India. In the Hindi heartland of the country, no one can ensure a film’s success better than him.

Other than Salman, the greatest attraction of the game show Dus Ka Dum, was the largest-ever prize money offered during the show: Rs 100 million. It became a dream for every Indian irrespective of his religious, caste, or linguistic affiliation, to win this astronomical sum to change his life forever.
