The court has directed that the board be constituted on the lines of the UP Muslim Wakf Act 1960 with suitable amendments commensurate to the requirements of Hindu religion, representing all sects falling within the fold of Hinduism.

The court said that the board should be self-governing, autonomous and regard being had to tenets, customs and other provisions governing to such sects.

The board should register all such religious and charitable establishments, endowments according to the norms represented by Maths, monasteries, temples, religious and charitable trusts or societies through the heads of all sects.

The Central as well State Government should also frame welfare schemes for providing minimum wages to such workers as well as other welfare measures relating to such workers/employee, directed the Court.

The court also said that such scheme, as stated above, should be prepared after inviting objections from all sections in the fold of Hindu religion. The court directed that the scheme so framed might be placed in the court after three months. The court will now hear this case on September 4,2006.
