He asked the doctors and paramedics to remain present in hospitals as per the duty roster and provide best health care facilities to people so that they could avoid visiting Kathua and Jammu city hospitals.

Regarding upgradation of health services in Basohli town, Singh said the government has sanctioned `9.72 crore for construction of the CHC building at Basohli. He informed that the construction of the building is under progress and would be completed within the stipulated time frame.

He said the government is committed to provide better medicare facilities to people especially in the far-flung areas and thrust is being laid to upgrade the basic infrastructure of all health institutions in the state.

He directed the doctors and paramedics to wear identity cards during office hours. He asked the concerned officers to maintain office record properly.
