Hearing in Babri case postponed

The hearing into the Babri Mosque demolition case has been extended to April 8.

A special court hearing the Babri mosque demolition case against BJP leader L K Advani and seven others could not carry with the proceedings on Tuesday due to a strike by the local bar.

The court fixed April eight as the next date of hearing.

Besides Advani, former union ministers M M Joshi, Uma Bharti, BJP general secretary Vinay Katiyar, VHP leaders Ashok Singhal, Vishnu Hari Dalmiya, Acharya Giriraj Kishore and Sadhvi Ritambhara are also accused.
