For Heather Mills, her split from Sir Paul McCartney is becoming a real nightmare, for after being called all sorts of names, and having her past thrown in her face once again, she is now getting death threats.

In an interview to the BBC, Sir Paul McCartney’s estranged wife revealed that not only had she become a target for death threats, but that she was so strapped for cash that she had no money to pay for security.

"We've had a few death threats which is pretty scary. We don't have any funding for security," the Mirror quoted her, as telling the BBC.

However, despite becoming public enemy no.1 and receiving the threats, the 38-year old animals’ rights activist admits that she is now enjoying life, for she’s once again free to pursue interests such as music, photography and fashion – something that was banned before.

And though she refused to reveal who had banned her from pursuing those hobbies, she simply: "Now I'm free to do what I wish."

Mills, dubbed Lady Mucca, by the British press, will probably soon have enough money for her security, if Macca decides to let her have the 80million pounds she is reportedly demanding as part of the couple’s divorce settlement.

Sir Paul McCartney and Mills announced their split in May this year. The split signalled the end of their four-year marriage.
