When it comes to restaurant quirks, there’s no stopping the imagination! A London based restaurant, Yo! Sushi has invented a new style of food delivery: They have developed the 'first flying service tray'. We take a look at gimmicks adopted by other restaurants across the world to amuse diners.

Hajime Restaurant
This restaurant in Bangkok, Thailand has replaced waiters with robots, who dance their way to your table as they serve you your order. The owner of the restaurant purchased four robots for $1 million.

Cannibalistic Restaurant
This Japanese eatery, based in Tokyo, serves you a mannequin filled with sushi, sashimi and other dishes. The mannequin is placed right in the centre of a table and serves 6-8 people.

D S Music Restaurant
Their name could be misguiding: the place has nothing for music buffs. The theme they have gone for is hospital! So don’t panic if you are made to sit on a wheel chair and pushed towards the table. All drinks here are served through drips, with waitresses dressed up as nurses.

Le Refuge des Fondus
This joint in Paris provides wine in baby bottles! It is said that this gimmick was invented to avoid the French tax on wines served in proper glasses.
