With Nupur Talwar’s release from Dasna prison on Tuesday, her husband Rajesh Talwar said they want to open a clinic in name of their daughter Aarushi to help prison inmates. The Talwars, who are dentists, are accused in the Aarushi-Hemraj double murder case.
“We plan to visit Dasna frequently to help the inmates and especially attend to their dental problems. We will ensure that the facility is well-planned and kept under very hygienic conditions like any other modern facility,” Rajesh Talwar told Hindustan Times.
He added that they had initiated an NGO called ‘Aarushi’s legacy’ in 2009 at Khanpur area in south Delhi but the plan couldn’t proceed after the CBI filed its closure report. “Now Nupur is out on bail; we both will be able to devote more time to the case and will also pursue medical clinic at Dasna prison,” he said.
Talwar also denied going about a book which the Dasna prison officials had been claiming that Nupur had initiated over the murder mystery. “Prison is not a place where one can write a book with great deal of attention. One needs a peaceful atmosphere. This will be considered later on,” he said.
Talwar was also lodged at Dasna in July, 2008, after the murders came to light and is presently out on bail. He was released by the CBI after they filed CrPC 169 application on July 11, 2008. The CBI has challenged his bail at the Allahabad high court which has presently reserved its orders after the hearings.

{{/usCountry}}On the other hand, CBI sources said the agency had not suffered any setback due to Nupur’s release on bail. Agency sources said they have already finished around 70% of their case while Nupur was lodged in the jail.
On Tuesday, the CBI produced another witness but could not examine him as some additional documents were needed. The CBI had submitted a list of 10 documents needed to be placed on record as evidence. The list include several seizure memos, reports of DNA finger-printing examination, several CDs, call-details records, e-mails and Orkut profile reports.
The CBI has also sought permission to place on record the letter related to DNA-fingerprinting about a pillow and a pillow cover whose markings were interchanged due to a typographical error. The hearing will continue on Thursday.
