IN A graceful function, the student’s council of HEMA Higher Secondary School, BHEL was installed. Chief guest of the function was Minister of Industries and Commerce, Babulal Gaur.
The programme started with a welcome song and Vande Mataram. School principal Satyabhama Misra welcomed the chief guest and other dignitaries.
Gaur investituted the title of School Captain to Shahwar Khan, Kumari F Sajida was elected as Head Girl, Kumari Richa Katiyar, Jitendra Verma, Saurabh Shrivastava and Dhiresh Maurya were sworn in as Cultural Minister, Discipline Minister, Education Minister, Education Minister and Sports Minister respectively.
Captains of four houses namely Asan House, Iqbal House, Tagore House and Vallathol House were also sworn in. On the occasion, meritorious students of Board examination were given a cash award of Rs 1,000 each by Gaur. President of HEMA Education Society VV Nair presented a shawl and shreefal to honour Minister Babulal Gaur.
