The station will soon have posters depicting the country’s heritage, culture, tips to save environment, and above all Dhauli Pyau, which was demolished due to the metro expansion work.

The Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH) has taken up the responsibility to make the youths aware about Indian culture, heritage and especially Dhauli Pyau, that was restored and maintained by INTACH since 1998, and was razed during a land acquisition drive for metro by the Haryana Urban Development Authority (Huda).

“We asked the metro authorities that if they can provide us a panel where we can put up some pictures of Dhauli Pyau, which is a part of our history and a memory for many residents, they accepted our proposal and by the end of November we will have a special panel at the metro station, where pictures will revive the memories of the residents,” said Atul Dev, convener, INTACH, Gurgaon chapter.
