SECURITY ARRANGEMENTS in and around Raja Bhoj airport were tightened and the airport was put under high alert in the wake of forthcoming Republic Day. It will be effective till January 27.

Airport director Anil Sharma giving this information today said it was normal practice to tighten security arrangements prior to Republic Day.
As per the directives, persons other than those travelling will not be allowed to enter the airport premises. Besides this, bags and baggage of travellers would also be intensively checked, Sharma added.
