Himachal assembly adjourned sine die

Speaker Brij Behari Lal Butail on Friday adjourned the Himachal Pradesh assembly sine die. Expressing gratitude towards all members for smooth functioning of the assembly, the speaker called upon them to keep decorum and maintain cordial environment in all sessions, for which the House is known for.

Earlier, chief minister Virbhadra Singh urged the Opposition BJP to play the role of a constructive opposition and assured that government would be keen to have suggestions from all members of the House in interest of common man.

Leader of Opposition Prem Kumar Dhumal promised support to the government on issues relating to interests of the state and said his party would also keep raising issues of public interest in the House.
