CARMEL CONVENT Senior Secondary School, BHEL, celebrated Hindi Diwas with enthusiasm and fervour here on Thursday. The function started with a colourful cultural programme.
All activities were carried out in Hindi. Self-composed poems, story writing, poster and chart making competition were conducted that brought out the creativity and patriotic zeal of students.

School principal Sr Noel addressed the students and staff in Hindi and shed light on its richness. Students of the class XI presented a prayer service in Hindi depicting and recalling scenes from the past to present times. An antakshari on Indian culture, scriptures and patriotism was an added attraction of the day.
At the end, school principal gave away the prizes.
