Party office secretary Tikku Thakur, accompanied by party workers, submitted a memorandum saying that the district administration had failed to implement its own announcement of bifurcating apple-laden trucks from the Mehali-Shoghi bypass.

Laying stress on better traffic management, the HLP submitted that there was no system established to guide about the Mehali-Shoghi bypass at starting point in Mehali.

Expressing concern over charging extra fees in parking in Shimla, the HLP said tourists had to suffer a lot as parking of the Shimla municipal corporation, which has been outsourced, has charged extra fees.

Due to the apple season on peak, traffic problem was severe at Dhali and Bhattakufar area. In the morning, office-going people and schoolchildren had to suffer due to this mismanagement.

Accusing the school administration of not providing the transport facility, the HLP said if the school administration would provide transport facility, it would reduce traffic congestion from the roads of Shimla.
