Hooda can discuss development not legal cases with INLD

After INLD leader and Ellenabad MLA Abhey Chautala alleged the role of the Congress in framing Chautalas, chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda said he would like to spend his time and energy on discussing development rather than legal matters.

After INLD leader and Ellenabad MLA Abhey Chautala alleged the role of the Congress in framing Chautalas, chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda said he would like to spend his time and energy on discussing development rather than legal matters.

Hooda said this while laying the foundation stone of various projects in Sonepat district on Sunday. Hooda said: "The conviction of Chautalas is a legal issue. Being a political leader, I would like to debate on the development carried out by the opposition party and the Congress."

He said: "During the Congress regime, Rs 3,799 crore had been spent under various public welfare schemes in Sonepat district, while during Chautala regime (1999-2004), Rs 616 crore were spent."

The projects launched by Hooda on the occasion included laying the foundation stones of construction of part-1 of GT road to Kami road byepass, ROB in Gohana on Jind road, government college near Gohana, government college for boys near Kharkhodda and railway under bridge near Sonepat.
