Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda flagged off 81 ambulances - 60 basic and 21 advanced life support - to strengthen Haryana Swasthya Vaahan Sewa No 102 here on Friday.

He said the government targeted at increasing the number of ambulances, equipped with international-level instruments, under referral transport service in the state to 500 from the current 411.
Hooda said the number of life-support ambulances had been doubled to 42, making sure that two advanced life-support ambulances were operational in each district.
