Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda described the intelligence quotient (IQ) of child prodigy Kautilya Pandit as rare and assured his family that the state government would provide every possible support to enable him to further excel in the field of education.
Kautilya originally hails from Kharhar village in Jhajjar district and presently living in Kohand village in Karnal.
Hooda while speaking at 'Bal Pratibha Samman Samaroh' organised to honour Kautilya at his residence here on Friday said that the state government would assist him to pursue his education in the institute of his choice.
Hooda honoured Kautilya with reward of `10 lakh and a certificate while the amount had been handed over to Kautilya in the form of a fixed deposit (FD).
Kautilya's father Satish Sharma, mother Sumita Sharma, grandfather Jai Kishan Sharma, grandmother Vidyavati and other family members were also present on the occasion.
Hooda said that he had watched the television programmes in which Kautilya had exhibited his intelligence and had personally interacted with him.
Hooda compared Kautilya with renowned scientist Albert Einstein and said that like Einstein, the name of Kautilya would also be written in the world history for his vast knowledge.

Kautilya's father Satish Sharma said that his son, who studied two and a half hours daily, had a knack of probing things. He said that his son had an enviable knowledge of almost every field including world geography, states, area, chief ministers, language, religion, but he had an expertise in world map.
