Go with clothes that don’t wrinkle easily or look good wrinkled, like linen. Instead of carefully folding them, just roll them up and place them in the bag.

2. Get the colours right:

Colour coordinate the clothes you pack, sticking to four prominent colours. Stick to solid colours like black, brown, navy blue or brighter ones as per where you’re headed.

3. Gizmo Guru:

Pack the electronics gadgets like cellphone charger, camera batteries etc next and place them in one section of the suitcase as you may require these frequently. You needn’t worry too much even if you miss out on packing something like this. Hotels tend to have a big box of chargers handy for such emergencies.

4. Liquid rush:

When it comes to your toiletries, only go with the bare basics. Stick with a 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner, a moisturiser, a bath gel and a deodorant stick.

Lastly, keep your cash and important medicines in a separate vanity kit and place it in a separate compartment of your travel bag/suitcase.
