If you have a good camera, it's important to store it properly. Read on to know how.

Keep it balmy: If you’re keeping your camera away for a long time, make sure you store it in a place where the temperature doesn’t fluctuate much. Extreme heat can damage the camera case over time, while extreme cold can damage the camera’s LCD.
Keep it dry: Storing the camera in a humid place can cause liquid build up inside the lens. So avoid storing it in any damp places. Internal electronics of the camera can also be damaged by humid conditions.
Avoid sunlight: Don’t let your camera be hit by direct sunlight. The heat generated by the sun can damage the camera’s case over time.
Dismantle it: Always make it a point to take out the batteries and memory card when storing the camera for long.
Keep other electronics away: When storing the camera, keep it away from other electronic gadgets as they generate a magnetic field which can damage the camera’s LCD screen.
