HINDUSTAN PETROLEUM Corporation Limited (HPCL) organised a seminar on ‘Hexane’ in Indore for owners of solvent extraction plants or edible oil plants to spread awareness about the safe use of hexane, its quality appreciation and handling, recently.
SOPA executive director D R Kalra inaugurated the programme. Addressing the programme D R Kalra appreciated the work done by HPCL for availability of hexane. HPCL (Mumbai) deputy general manager S Jaikrishnan answered the queries of the participants and also gave information about the company.
Company’s technical specialist S P Ittal gave information about the production and quality control of the hexane. HPCL (Bhopal) senior regional manager S K Bhatnagar delivered the welcome speech. Senior office-bearers of HPCL including R C Rego and A K Khare were present on the occasion.
Abhijit Sarkar conducted the programme, while Lokesh Singhal proposed the vote of thanks.
