HPCL sign MoU with Sinopec

Hindustan Petroleum Corp Ltd said on Tuesday that it has signed a preliminary agreement with China's state-run Sinopec for projects in India, China and other countries.

The two companies would cooperate in areas including international trade, exploration and production, refinery and petrochemicals and consultancy services, the Indian company said.

Shares in Hindustan Petroleum were up 0.75 per cent at Rs 324.5 in a flat Mumbai market.
