Police claimed to have smashed a major inter-state human trafficking racket with the arrest of a travel agent in a north-west Delhi locality on Monday.

Amrit Pal Singh, who was nabbed on in Rohini, has been sending people to Indonesia and Singapore on fake travel documents, police said.
He is an accused in four cases of fraud, cheating and auto theft.
According to police, he took three persons to Indonesia via Thailand and three others to Singapore, who were arrested and deported. He, however, escaped and managed to reach India through Nepal.
He had visited several countries and was once deported from Jordan in 1998.
A passport which he had procured in the name of Jatin Verma by furnishing false documents was seized from his possession, they added.
