Police have launched a hunt to nab an army jawan who allegedly abducted a woman from Kangan area of Ganderbal district, a police spokesman said on Friday.
The woman, who was married to one Nazir, a resident of Kati-Wangath, was allegedly kidnapped on gunpoint by a local Territorial Army jawan Fayaz Ahmad Bajad on Thursday evening, he said.

Police are clueless about the reason behind the incident.
